Old Aqua Theme

Description

I’m sure the experienced users do know all of this, but for the newbies will be useful, so let’s go. What is a theme? In Windows XP, the themes (or Visual Styles) are used for change the look and feel of the graphic user interface (GUI). It’s a set of files (including icons, sounds, wallpapers, etc.) that can transform your boring Windows box in something much more attractive, nice or simply in something unique and exclusive. Of course, you can't use visual styles in earlier versions of Windows (Win2k, Milleniumm or Win9x) because the skinning engine is embedded in the XP and is unavailable in those.

Iceman's Jaguar Theme. This specific theme tries to emulate the GUI of the beloved and cool Mac OS X, offering a very closer and accurate look and although isn’t perfect, you’ll be unable to find another one (at least, not at this moment) that could give you a best emulation. Of course, the original OS X do have some advanced features (such as hardware-accelerated transparency, and a GUI specifically built around this look) that are unavailable on Windows, also the behavior of the OS is kinda different so an exact replica of OS X is simply impossible.
